Hospital's New MRI Service
New York Downtown Hospital is very pleased to announce
that we have received approval from the New York State
Department of Health to operate and offer Magnetic
Resonance Imaging (MRI) services to Lower Manhattan.
Our new MRI will offer a full range of services, including
neurological, musculoskeletal and breast imaging, in a
state-of-the-art, newly renovated suite featuring one of the
finest high-definition MRI systems available.
A patient-first approach will be central to how this new and
vital service is delivered. The utmost attention will be given to
providing superb service and clinical excellence in a
comfortable environment conveniently located for patients who
live in or work in Lower Manhattan. Results and findings will be interpreted by subspecialty-trained, board-certified radiologists from Weill Cornell Medical College.
To schedule an appointment or tour of the new MRI facility at New York Downtown Hospital, please contact the Department of Radiology at (212) 312-5179.
