Department of Pediatrics(212) 312-5350 New York Downtown Hospital's highly respected pediatric department provides child friendly services for over 8,000 pediatric visits annually. Our services include subspecialty clinics such as Pediatric Cardiology which operates Thursday mornings from 9:00am to 1:00pm, Pediatric Neurology which operates alternate Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Pediatric Allergy clinic which operates alternate Wednesday afternoons and Genetic clinic which operates one Friday per month, 9:00am to 1:00pm. Our pediatric clinic staff members are bilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Spanish speaking staff are available by request. This Fall, we will be expanding these services with an early intervention program targeted to helping parents identify and treat developmental problems in their children before the age of three. This will be the only clinical program of its kind available below 14th street. Early diagnosis and treatment can help children before speech and motor difficulties impact upon their school experiences. The programs interdisciplinary team includes pediatric physicians, speech, occupational and physical therapists. The clinic hours for all services are Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 1:00 pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm. To make an appointment, call: (212) 312-5350. |
