Ms. Lai appointed Director of Patient Advocacy
Nancy Rodenhausen, M.S., RN, Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Vice President for Patient Care Services, announced that Ms. Chui-Man Lai has accepted the role of Director of Patient Advocacy. Ms. Lai has been at New York Downtown Hospital for the past six years and served most recently as the Interim Director in the Patient Advocacy Department. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from NYU and completed a certificate in Medical Terminology at NYU Medical Center. Ms. Lai and the team of Patient Advocates work diligently to improve communication between patients and Hospital staff.
